How to be content in your life
3
Psalm 37:3-4:
Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Remain faithful to the Lord and he will build your life around you. He will give you the desires of your heart; things that you may not even know.
Live peaceably and humbly and seek the Lord in all you do, whether big or small. Be faithful in accordance with your portion at that time. Luke 16:10-11 "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?"
Do not constantly focus on what is yet to come. Do not be a dreamer but live for now, for Christ in whatever you are doing. Live faithfully and do what is right, no matter how insignificant it may seem to you. Treat every situation as Christ would. For this will please God and you will be exalted in accordance with God's will and you will be fulfilled and content in your life, just as the idiot in Dostoevsky's book (see previous post).
Hebrews 6:11 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
