Mark 16:15 - Go

Do you have an urge to evangelize but find yourself weak at the knees when it comes to speaking up for Christ? As Christians we should all know the joy of the Lord and seek to spread that joy with others, but it is easy to become frustrated or even complacent because on most occasions that desire, no matter how strong, will be thwarted by our fears.  “I do want to speak our but what do I say?” “I do want to speak out, but what difference could I possibly make?” “I do want to speak out, but I am scared those I speak with will react badly.” “I do want to speak out, but what if they ask me a question that I don’t know the answer to?”  All of these questions can usually be generalized into two thoughts. The first; “I am scared.” The second; “I don’t know what to say”. “I am scared” Too right you are and so you should be. We have a responsibility on this earth to spread the Gospel of Christ. This is a serious responsibility and certainly not one that should be taken ...

Deuteronomy 12:3-5 We are making the gospel filthy!

Why is it that the amount of people being saved in your church are few and far between, or out of those who do get 'saved' even fewer actually become strong followers of Christ? There is a significant problem in the church today, a lack of real growth. In the first century church thousands of people were being saved every day.  Acts 2:47 "... and the Lord added to the church daily...".  In the West today this is unheard of. How convenient that this opinion allows people to continue to live without accepting that they have a problem.  Is this opinion not based on the fact that the results we see today are not in line with what the Bible says happened back then, so instead of admitting that we have a problem we prefer to put the reason...

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 The fear of Evangelising

As Christians we should have a desire to save those who are lost. We should have a natural desire in our hearts to save those who are perishing. If you do not then there is something wrong with you.  Ecclesiastes 12:14 tells us “For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing; whether good or evil.” When we die we must all stand before the Holy God to be judged according to our hearts. Romans 3:23 tells us that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Psalm 14:3 / Romans 3:12 tells us “…there is none that are good, no not one.”   2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteous of God in Him.” By putting our faith in Jesus we are justly pardoned in law from the wrath of God and are able to enter heaven. As we stand before God to be judged, Jesus is our representative. He is better than any lawyer that money can buy, for not only does He represent for us but H...
