Hebrews 11:6

Hebrews 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

The only way we can please God is through faith. Faith makes us strong in the Lord. Faith makes us holy. As humans we will always fall short, both of God’s standards and our own expectations. If you are a Christian… don’t worry! Enjoy your journey. Yes, there will be hard times, but take comfort from the fact that God will always be at your side.

Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

It doesn’t matter what you do. You cannot please God by good works. You cannot disappoint God by bad works. God knows you fall short of his standards. That’s why He sent His Son and gave us grace. Naturally, as Christians our desires should echo Gods and we will become accustomed to clean living if we are truly saved, however this will not please God or make you holy. It is faith that will delight him; faith that grace will be enough when you slip up and faith that grace is enough to cover all things. Don’t focus on what to do. Just focus on having a strong faith. Through that you will be as David: a man after Gods own heart, and God will provide the opportunity to live as Christ so that people may ask you for the reason for the hope that is in you and that you may tell them with all meekness and fear.

Have Faith!

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God[d] in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”
