Dealing with our problems

Mark 11:23 "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

Often when we are faced with problems we pray to God for help and live our lives almost timidly until the situation is resolved. As Christians we should not do this. We have great authority on Earth through Christ.

Jesus does not tell us to ask God to resolve a problem, look at Mark 11:23. Jesus tells us to speak directly to the problem with our authority through him.

Words are powerful. Proverbs 18:21 states: "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. As a Christian, our words have the authority and power of Christ. Have confidence in the words that you speak over things in Jesus' name.
